A Note A Day

During this challenging time, people have been coming together and are supporting one another; from clapping and cheering out of our windows to showing support for NHS staff, to doing a weekly shop for a vulnerable neighbour. We are showing that, even in some of the most difficult times, we can all choose to be kind.

An act of kindness that my family and I witnessed during the pandemic was from our neighbours. Our neighbours would leave a note on our door almost daily asking if we were doing okay and if we needed any help. Soon this became a daily activity on bot of our ends. I think it was very heartwarming and re assuring to get these notes throughout the quarantine, when physical interaction with those outside our houselhold was at its least.

Inspiring Pandemic Celebrity: Serena Williams

The celebrity that i was Inspired by during the pandemic is Serena Williams.

The tennis star announced her goal to “donate 4.25 million masks to underserved schools and provide educational materials about masks to 54 million students and all 115,00 schools in the United States.”

“In addition to donating 4.25 million masks, another mask will be donated for each one purchased by the schools. I’m grateful to be able to help educate our schools about this resource, and to be given the opportunity to serve so many students,” Williams wrote on Instagram.

I think the pandemic has given way to many uplifting stories and has been a source that tried to bring humanity together. One of the main things we got out of the pandemic was that people became more connected and open to the idea of helping each other.
